Our Design in a Day workshop was fun, productive and a real pleasure. AWK listened to our brief and came up with a design that would not have occurred to us without her input.
Design in a day workshops
“The design in a day workshop really stood out as what we were looking for. We like to be involved in the design process and a collaborative approach was just what we were looking for. From the moment AWK received our call, they showed genuine enthusiasm and passion for the project taking a real interest in the design features of our house. We achieved a huge amount in just half a day, and AWK gave us expertise and design ideas that a builder could not. The drawings, 3D renders and mood boards we received back really brought the ideas to life and have been a great way to help us visualise the new space. Highly recommend!”
If you want to test out your ideas without (or before) committing to a full architectural service then the Design in a Day Workshops, with their excellent client feedback, may be right for you! This is usually suitable for residential extension projects and some commercial ones. We sketch out some options in the comfort of your own home (or office) and prepare an agreed outline proposal for you to discuss with your builder, the planning office and your family!

The hand painted kitchen was designed to be in the heart of the house, with an island unit where the family tend to gather for breakfast, coffee mornings with friends and after work meal time conversations.
AWK listens, is client centred, innovative, well organised and an excellent project manager. She pays attention to detail. Most of all she is passionate about her work. A great Architect and example of all that is good in the profession at such a challenging time.
This is one of our favourite - and earliest - projects. With a tight budget and a small kitchen in need of updating, Nick and Rachel wanted to create an interesting kitchen extension to their terraced Victorian property in Twickenham
The first floor was changed from a standard semi detached layout to have two large bedrooms with en-suites, one with a dressing room - a more practical and comfortable arrangement for the cosmopolitan couple.
