.. especially those with an eye for colour and detail and the ability to visualise the space and have fun with a project.    These clients were some of those!   The terraced house is in such a great location in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and in a Conservation Area, and the Planning Application for a ground floor extension and loft extension as well as the full refurbishment of the property was won on appeal.  And it was worth the wait. The property had been our client's childhood family home.  The first time we visited, the bedroom that is now an en-suite to the master bedroom still had his Lego spaceship that he built years before.   The site visits were accompanied by family members who had lived in the house and the biggest compliment upon completion is that the house 'still felt the same'; although somewhat warmer than it was before, thanks to new insulation and underfloor heating, updated plumbing and electrics and a general TLC that will give the property another 100 years of life. When we suggested a pink and green kitchen, not only did they go for it - they topped it with a red exposed steel beam! It was a pleasure to work on this one.
